Research projects

KGHM CUPRUM Ltd. Research and Development Centre has been successfully securing and implementing research and development projects for many years, financed by both national and European funds, and has achieved significant success in this area.

We are an active partner in international scientific consortia participating in major global programmes supporting research and innovation, such as Horizon Europe. Collaboration within the Knowledge and Innovation Community (KIC) of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology enables us to carry out advanced, internationally oriented projects in the field of mining technologies and the EU raw materials sector. At the same time, participation in national programmes of the National Centre for Research and Development and the National Science Centre – focused on supporting scientific research and development work – provides us with extensive opportunities to develop and implement innovative technologies, equipment, materials, and products for the non‑ferrous metals sector.

We carry out our initiatives in cooperation with leading national research institutions and industrial partners. Thanks to our extensive and continuously expanding partnership network, we can develop and implement modern technological solutions even more effectively for the broadly understood mining industry.

The international cooperation platform we have built ensures not only the implementation of projects with experienced partners from across Europe but also facilitates knowledge exchange and access to the latest technological advancements available on the market.
