Research departments and laboratories
People and their specialist unique knowledge are our greatest assets. Our employees have decades of experience gained both during work for KGHM Polska Miedź S.A. and for other Partners from broadly defined mining sector. We employ in our Research Centres and their accredited Laboratories and Workrooms 125 experts, of whom 4 are professors, 2 hold a post-doctoral degree, 30 are PhDs and nearly 90 hold the master’s or master engineer degree.
Domestic
projects
KGHM Cuprum Research and Development Centre has been working on research and scientific projects for many years, financed both from national and European funds. We are very successful in these areas.
International
projects
We are a partner in 4 international scientific consortia executing projects in one of the biggest programmes of financing scientific research and innovations in the world, i.e. „Horizon 2020”.
